Bridget Carr Pirsch coordinates symposia, lectures, seminars and conferences for the La Follette School's outreach office. Her role ranges from conceptualizing the goals to executing the actual event. She is the primary liaison among sponsors, and La Follette faculty and staff, and attendees. She pulls together planning teams, whose members include legislators, court officials, representatives from the governor’s office and state agencies, community leaders and university experts. She manages event logistics, administration, materials, budgets and program evaluations. Pirsch’s projects include Bowhay Institute of Legislative Leadership Development , Wisconsin Women in Government, New Legislators Orientation, Wisconsin Women = Prosperity, and symposia on international currency, health governance, flooding, red tape and regulation, slavery. She was a member of the committee that organized the first Women in Government seminar.

Pirsch holds a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Montana. Prior to joining the La Follette School in 2000 Pirsch was a benefits counselor with the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She earlier held a similar position at the University of Minnesota.
