Graham Wilson is Professor of Political Science and Public Affairs. His research examines public policies comparatively, focusing on advanced democracies and ranging across diverse policy areas that include agriculture, occupational safety, and the environment. He is particularly interested in the relationship between business and government, and he has published extensively on interest groups in the United States and advanced democracies generally. His current project is a comparison across countries of efforts to develop alternatives to traditional approaches to environmental regulation. In this capacity, he has served as consultant to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Professor Wilson has authored Only in America?, a comparative perspective on American public policy, and his widely used Business and Politics is in its third edition. He received his doctorate from Oxford University.
