University of Wisconsin-Madison students are learning more about the opportunities and challenges of deploying renewable energy sources like wind, solar and biomass on a national scale at a conference partly organized by La Follette School students.
Two hundred fifty students were expected at the conference today, October 16,at Monona Terrace. The Energy Hub is a registered student organization that connects students and student organizations that are interested in energy issues. Twenty students are showcasing their original research posters, and La Follette School professor Greg Nemet will moderate a panel discussion on “Balancing the Promise and the Challenge” at 3:15 p.m.
