Another reception for alumni and friends will be in Milwaukee on Monday, November 16, at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. A reception starts at 4 p.m., and Professor Kenneth Wong of Brown University will speak on “Rethinking Local School Governance: Tensions and Strategies” at 5:30 p.m.
A Madison reception will be February 4 at Inn on the Park, 4:30-7 p.m.
Faculty, alumni to present at conference, October 27, 2009, La Follette School News
More than 25 alumni and friends plan to join 10 La Follette School faculty at a reception in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, November 5, at the Washington Marriott Hotel, 1221 22nd St. N.W. The reception is 6-7:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Faculty will be in Washington for the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management’s fall conference, which is in D.C. every other year.
“The reception will be a great opportunity for people to network, share experiences and catch up with faculty members,” says director Carolyn Heinrich. “We look forward to seeing everyone.”
