Two students will talk about their summer internship experiences at noon on Tuesday, September 18, in the La Follette School conference room.

Master of public affairs student Selina Eadie will discuss her Washington, D.C., internship with the Office of College and Career Readiness in the Office of the Academic Officer at the District of Columbia Public Schools central office. “I spent the summer evaluating the DCPS community service graduation requirement and had the opportunity to work with DC nonprofit leaders, high school students, and district-level administrators,” she says.

Master of international public affairs student Rachel Polster will discuss her human-rights and urban planning internship with a municipality office in Ecuador.

Both students will describe how they found their internships, the organizations they worked for, what they did on a day-to-day basis, projects they worked on and share recommendations with other students.

The La Follette School Student Association organized the brown bag session.
