Course bolsters financial life skills

A La Follette School faculty member helped to launch a one-credit course on financial life skills that is helping undergraduates.

The School of Human Ecology started the class because campus groups, including the student government and financial aid offices, saw a need for all students to learn more about personal finances, says La FOllette School faculty member Michael Collins, a consumer science professor and director of the university’s Center for Financial Security.
