Faculty lend expertise to academic journals

La Follette School faculty serve as editors and on editorial boards for a variety of academic journals, which are an important component of the service faculty provide in to expand human knowledge.

Menzie Chinn is coeditor of the Journal of International Money and Finance, and an associate editor of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking. He was formerly an associate editor of the Review of International Economics, and Journal of International Economics. He currently serves on the editorial board of Open Economies Review and the Journal of International Economics and Economic Policy.

J. Michael Collins is on the editorial boards of Journal of Family Financial Counseling and Planning and Journal of Consumer Affairs.

Jason M. Fletcher is managing editor of the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management.

Robert Haveman is on the editorial board of Public Finance (Finances Publiques) and Land Economics and serves as chair of the latter board. He has served as co-editor of American Economic Review and associate editor of Water Resources Research. He has been on the editorial boards of these journals: Journal of Human Resources; de Economist; Evaluation Quarterly, Journal of Economic Literature, The GAO Journal, and American Economic Review,

Pamela Herd is deputy editor of the Journal of Health and Social Behavior, and she serves on the editorial boards of Gerontologist and Poverty and Public Policy.

Melanie Manion serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Politics, China Quarterly and the Journal of Contemporary China.

Donald Moynihan serves on the editorial boards of Risk, Hazards & Crisis in Public Policy, American Review of Public Administration, Public Administration Review and Public Management Review, Public Performance and Management Review, and Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory. He formerly was co-editor of Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory and Public Administration Review; book review editor for Public Management Review; and editorial board member for State & Local Government Review, and International Review of Public Administration.

Greg Nemet serves on the editorial board of Research Policy.

Tim Smeeding serves on the editorial boards of Child and Youth Services Review, Journal of Economic Inequality, Journal of Income Distribution, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, and Review of Income and Wealth. He was co-editor ofSchmollers Jahrbuch (Journal of Applied Social Sciences), and is co-editor in chief of the Poverty and Income Distribution and Income Assistance e-journal for the Social Insurance Research Network.

David Weimer serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Public Policy, Evaluation and the Health Professions, Journal of Benefit-Cost Analysis, Policy Studies Journal, and Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis: Research and Practice. From 1985 to 1989 he served as the second editor of the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management.

Susan Yackee serves on the editorial boards of Regulation and Governance, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, and American Politics Research.
