Recipients of the 2015 Lloyd D. Gladfelter Award for Government Innovation will be honored Thursday, February 4 during the La Follette School’s annual Madison reception for alumni and friends. Approximately 80 people are expected to attend the event from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Madison Club, 5 East Wilson Street.

The reception offers La Follette School alumni, students, faculty, friends and staff the opportunity to network and establish relationships. The La Follette School Student Association also will hold a silent auction, with proceeds supporting the 2016 graduation ceremony. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.

“This much-anticipated annual event is a wonderful way to kick off the second semester,” said La Follette Director Susan Yackee, professor of public affairs and political science. “Many professional connections have been created during previous receptions. The camaraderie and enthusiasm can warm even the coldest winter evening.”

The event is made possible by donations from alumni and friends of the La Follette School through the University of Wisconsin Foundation. Reservations are encouraged, but not required; call 608-265-2658 or email Outreach Specialist This email address is being protected from spambots.
