Learn about Presidential Management Fellowship on Sept. 13

Steve Kulig and Hilary Shager will share information about the highly selective Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program Tuesday, September 13 at 11 a.m. Applications for the prestigious two-year paid training and development fellowships with the federal government are due in October. 

Current graduate students who will complete an advanced degree by August 31, 2017, and graduates who completed an advanced degree within the past two years are eligible. Fellowships are expected in public administration and public policy, international affairs, economics, and several other disciplines.

Kulig (MPA '14), the La Follette School’s career services coordinator, and Associate Director Shager (MPA '05, PhD '12) will provide details about the application, assessment, selection, and job-placement processes during the hour-long presentation September 13 in the La Follette School conference room.

The College of Letters & Science will host a similar presentation from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, September 15 at Union South. Kulig and L&S Government Career Specialist Marie Koko will present along with former fellows. Registration for the L&S presentation is online
