Excellent turnout expected at February 5 reception

More than 70 alumni and friends plan to attend the La Follette School's Madison reception on Thursday, February 5, at Inn on the Park's Top of the Park, 22 South Carroll St., from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

More than 100 alumni, friends, faculty, students and staff of the La Follette School take advantage of the annual opportunity to visit, network, catch up with former classmates, connect with mentors and renew relationships with former instructors. Alumni and friends planning to attend include graduates from the last three decades and a number of Wisconsin Women in Government leadership seminar graduates.

"We look forward to talking with alumni and friends of the school," says director Susan Yackee. "Faculty enjoy hearing about new initiatives and how our classroom lessons play out in the policy arena."

The reception with hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. The La Follette School Student Association will again hold a silent auction to raise money for the graduation celebration.

The gathering is made possible by donations from alumni and friends to the La Follette School via the University of Wisconsin Foundation. RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
