Social networks topic of Thursday lecture

How social networks affect what people feel, think and do is the subject of the 2014-15 Hilldale Lecture in Social Studies at 4 p.m. Thursday, October 2, in Wisconsin Idea Room of the Education Building.

James Fowler, a professor of medical genetics and political science at the University of California, San Diego, will address how social networks have a powerful effect on a wide range of human behaviors. His lecture is sponsored by the La Follette School and the departments of Political Science and Educational Psychology, as well as the university Hilldale Fund.
