La Follette School Director Susan Yackee will moderate the Wisconsin Women in Government’s leadership panel discussion Tuesday, February 9 at the Pyle Center on the UW-Madison campus.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from the following women, who will share their experiences and advice.
- Sara Dunn, director of client strategies for CG Schmidt
- Ellen Foley, vice president of corporate communications for WPS Health Insurance
- Darcy Luoma, executive coach, Darcy Luoma Coaching & Consulting
The event begins at 5:30 p.m., with the panel discussion from 6 to 7 p.m. Appetizers and a cash bar will be provided. The suggested donation is $20, and pre-registration is requested online.
Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG) is a statewide, bipartisan, nonprofit organization committed to empowering and advancing more women in government service through scholarship and professional development programs, including the WWIG Leadership Seminar held in collaboration with the LaFollette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison.
Since 1987, WWIG has raised more than $1 million to support programs that have benefitted over 460 women in government service and government relations. An all-volunteer, bipartisan board of directors organizes WWIG’s programs and events, including an annual Scholarship & Recognition Gala.
