Seminars for Wisconsin Department of Administration's Division of Executive Budget and Finance
These seminars are for employees with the Division of Executive Budget and Finance in the Wisconsin Department of Administration. The La Follette School Outreach Office connects University of Wisconsin - Madison professors and academic staff with the state budget team.
Topics vary according to speakers but each seminar involves 20 minutes of presentation on issues such as health care, immigration, pollution, bio-mass energy, agriculture, juvenile crime, corrections, etc. Forty minutes of discussion then follow. These sessions are background briefings that may apply directly or indirectly to topics with which the budget team must wrestle now or in the future.
