Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs

La Follette School students help a wide variety of public and private agencies through several courses including the Workshop in Public Affairs, the Workshop in International Public Affairs, Public Program Evaluation, and Cost-Benefit Analysis. Addressing actual problems clients face in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors, students work in teams to produce carefully crafted analyses and evaluation plans that meet high professional and academic standards. While doing so, students gain practical experience applying the tools of political, economic and statistical analysis and evaluation. Through these reports, students contribute to the University of Wisconsin–Madison's outreach mission and to the Wisconsin Idea.
