The La Follette School's orientation is an opportunity for new students to get to know each other, continuing students, faculty and staff, and to learn about how to make the best the two years they will spend here.
Faculty expect incoming students to know basic concepts in statistics and microeconomics. During orientation, incoming students are tested on their basic knowledge of statistics and microeconomics. After the assessment is returned to the students, gaps and uncertainties in knowledge will be reviewed. This test is mandatory.
