9:00  Check-in and Continental Breakfast 
Meet the staff, students and faculty; pick up name tag, have individual photos taken, edit your bio, sign up orientation community volunteer activities, order your “Bob” t-shirt and/or schedule an individual appointment with Mary Cate Treleven or Professor Menzie Chinn.

9:30  Welcome and Introductions

La Follette School Student Association (LSSA) President Lindsay Read introduces the association and officers, introduces the La Follette School Student Association activities and facilitates discussion between new and continuing students.

12:30 Lunch Break
Lunch is on your own, but LSSA reps are available to lead small groups to various nearby restaurants.

2:00 Statistics and Microeconomics Assessment Exams (Up to 2 hours)
Teaching assistants for PA 818 and 880 administer assessment exam. Assessment exam is not graded, rather, it provides information for faculty to determine which areas may need quick review.

The Graduate School offers additional orientation activities to all University of Wisconsin new graduate students.

4:00-6:00      Graduate Student Collaborative Reception

Continuing students get together with incoming students to work on a Madison service project. Sign up on Tuesday morning at orientation check-in. Opportunities are:
