Taking Sides in Everyday Life

UW-Madison Political Science Professor Kathy Cramer, a La Follette School faculty affiliate, will discuss the difficulty and importance of ordinary citizens encountering opposing political viewpoints. The talk is presented in conjunction with Taking Sides: Social Critique in Modern and Contemporary Art. Cramer is director of the Morgridge Center for Public Service and the author of The Politics of Resentment: Rural Consciousness in Wisconsin and the Rise of Scott Walker.
