Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs

Graduates of the La Follette School of Public Affairs' are employed around the world for national, state and local governments, private businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Of the 39 May 2011 graduates, 97 percent (38 people) reported by September 30, 2011, that they had secured jobs in their field or that they were in pursuit of further study. Of those 38 alumni, 17 are in Madison, six are in D.C., and 11 are elsewhere in the United States. Three are working abroad. Two are pursuing further education.

In comparison, as of August 18, 2010, 75 percent (33 people) reported employment or internships in their field or they planned pursuit of further study. Of the 48 members of the class of 2009, 69 percent (33 alumni) reported by August 2009 they were working or learning in their fields. Of those 33, seven planned to seek additional education.
