'02 alum wins re-election as mayor

2002 alum Shawn Pfaff won re-election as mayor of Fitchburg, a city just south of Madison, with 71 percent of the vote on April 2.

First elected in 2011, Pfaff says the victory confirms the people of Fitchburg "focused on important issues like economic development, infrastructure investment, and fully funding police and fire services all while holding the city tax rate flat and protecting the environment."

Pfaff works as a senior consultant with Capitol Consultants, a bipartisan firm specializing in government relations, public affairs and issue-based grassroots advocacy.
