Students make blankets for sick, traumatized children

La Follette School students gathered February 28 to make 15 blankets for the Madison area chapter of Project Linus, an organization that collects handmade blankets to distribute to sick and traumatized children. Funds for the fleece came from the Penny Wars the La Follette School Student Association conducted in fall 2013. Participants include, back row: Forrest McKnight, Carl Christiansen, Lacee Koplin, Don Eggert and Scott Wood; front row: Angela Filer, Steve Kulig, Issy Sun and Kendi Larrabee.
