Forty-nine La Follette School students marked their graduation from the professional master’s program with a May 18 ceremony in the Assembly Chamber at the Wisconsin Capitol.

La Follette School holds Visit Day

Thirty-one prospective students gathered April 7 to learn more about the La Follette School during the school's annual Visit Day. Visitors came from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Indiana, New York, Washington, D.C., and Belgium.

College honors Treleven for advising

Admissions and academic services coordinator Mary Treleven will receive an Academic Advising Award from the University of Wisconsin–Madison's College of Letters and Science at a reception on Thursday, May 1.
The La Follette School is pleased to welcome 2005 alum Hilary Shager as the new associate director.
Twenty-one women took part in the 14th annual leadership training seminar sponsored by Wisconsin Women in Government and the La Follette School of Public Affairs.
Professor emeritus Dennis Dresang and donors to the scholarship fund named for him will be recognized at the La Follette School's annual Madison reception on Thursday, February 6, at Inn on the Park, 22 South Carroll Street, on the Capitol Square.

More than 60 alumni and friends of the La Follette school plan on joining faculty, staff and students at the annual Madison reception on Thursday, February 7. The social event with hors d'oeuvres and cash bar is at Inn on the Park's Top of the Park, 22 South Carroll St., from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

The future of blended learning — face-to-face instruction combined with online content and tools — will be featured in Milwaukee and Madison next month through programs co-sponsored by the La Follette School.
Based on the number of business cards swapped, hands shaken and questions asked, the first "La Follette in D.C." program was an outstanding success in bringing students to the U.S. capital to meet alumni and employers.
More than 65 people are expected at Thursday's reception in Washington, D.C., for alumni and friends of the La Follette School. The social gathering is 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Capitol View Business & Conference Center, 101 Constitution Avenue NW. Alumni are encouraged to attend even if they have not rsvped.
